as a sec 4, taking pure bio O levels this year, these notes have helped me way more than i imagined, as Mr Keefe mentioned, reading the textbook and school notes might not be as effective as they may contain extra information, these notes however, simplifies it and it also has memory shortcuts which helps us remember the key points more easily, for example when focusing on near/far objects or transpiration, etc. using such ways to remember, i personally feel that it would be more effective than writing a whole chunk of notes down
